Has anyone had luck with using an at-home Fetal Doppler to check for baby heartbeat? If so, what brand/kind? I am 8 weeks today and had my first sonogram last week and we were able to see the heartbeat. However, I already have anxiety creeping in knowing I don’t have another check up for 4 weeks. What have you done to make sure the baby’s heart is still beating in these critical weeks where you hear about the worst case scenarios happening in weeks 8-10?

I’m 11 weeks 2 days and haven’t been able to find the heartbeat on the Doppler. I am trying not to let it scare me.

I’m 10w3d and all I hear is the swooshing of my placenta lol I don’t let it stress me out though because they’re so small at this stage and could just be hard to find.

I found my baby at 8w2d and 8w3d but then couldn’t again until a few days past 9 weeks. Since I’ve been 10w3d I’ve found it pretty consistently but also remind myself that if I can’t find it, it’s common for finding it to be inconsistent before 12w. I use the sonoline B and honestly just say a prayer everyday that baby remains healthy but really there’s nothing else you can do :/ I also have a private US clinic by me that charges $49 for peace of mind ultrasounds. That could be an option for you?

I haven’t. I’ve read that they’re difficult to use and find baby’s heartbeat earlier on, and I try to avoid causing myself extra stress and anxiety.
I guess they’re so small, and still so low down in there, it’s easy for them to hide from you.
